Today we will plunge with you into the world of dreams, full of hopes, goals, and aspirations. We will talk with a person who is only at the beginning of her life journey, making great plans and fighting for her place in this world. I am interviewing a young, talented, and interesting girl, Angelina Lishun, who, in addition to studying at Vistula University, also has interesting and rather unusual hobbies.
– Angelina, I am glad you agreed to give me an interview. As I have already said, you study at the University of Vistula, what program do you study at and what is your specialty?
– Yes, that is right, I study at Vistula University, at the Program of English Philology. I have never wanted to become an English teacher or a professor, but I have always wanted to have a large international social circle, and knowing English helps a lot in this.
– If I understood you correctly, then roughly speaking, you are not considering a job by profession for the future? Who do you want to be in the future and what do you want to do for a living?
– It’s not quite like that. I do not mind working by profession, not as a teacher, but as a translator. That is why I have also seriously taken up the study of Spanish and I plan to take other languages for learning. Just teaching is not for everyone. I believe that teachers should have a passion to teach others and I don’t feel like I have it. And I’m not ready to do my job not perfectly.
– I heard that you have a part-time job. Is it related to your specialty?
– Yes, I work as a content translator for YouTube, I write subtitles for videos in English. I like this job, but in the future, I want to do something more meaningful. I am ready to work not only in this industry but in any other. The main thing for me is that I won’t get bored at work and have the opportunity to travel. I don’t like being tied to one place.
– Studying and working probably take up most of your time, but when you have free hours, what do you do? What are your passions?
– You’re right, studying, working, and learning foreign languages take a lot of time, but I still have free time. As I said, I love to travel. It gives me the opportunity to meet new people and learn about other cultures. It fills me with energy and lust for life. Also, from unusual hobbies, I am engaged in divination on tarot cards. I sincerely believe that there is some higher power above us. I do not know what it is or who it is, but through fortune-telling, on the cards, I can look into the future or find out the causes of events that have already happened.
– Fortune telling on cards is a rather unusual hobby for a young girl, where did you buy decks of cards? And how often do your friends want to look into the future and ask you to tell fortunes by cards?
– Quite often, nearly every day. People have many questions about the future and even more about the past. And I do not want to boast, but often what I say becomes true. I don’t know if that is a coincidence or not, but that’s the way it is. And I like to bring decks from different countries, buying them in small shops. It seems to me that the cards are full of the energy of the city and people. And the process becomes much more interesting.
– Would you like to monetize this hobby of yours and make a profit in the future? Or is it more for yourself?
– I would still not want to make a profit from this. All the same, not everything in this world is subject to monetization. I would like it to remain mine, something personal.
– Returning to your career, do you have any plans for the next 5 or 10 years?
– I have several goals that I would like to achieve, such as graduating from university, getting international language proficiency certificates, etc. But I do not have any clearer plans. I am open to everything that this world has to offer me. Therefore, I am just waiting for my time and interesting proposals.
